Attention all shortboard surfers over 28 Years old
I have been asked to organise the EP Masters team to compete in the South African Masters championship which will take place at St Mikes in Margate 26-28 of August i.e. 3 Day Event.
Eastern Province short boards will have three trials to select the team of 6 Senior Men (28-34 years) 4 Masters (35-44 years) 3 Veterans (45-54) and 1 Legend (Over 55 years).
These trials will take place on the 12th of June in PE 26th June J-Bay and 3rd July venue to be announced.
Your best two results will count towards selection.
We will have an open meeting on Tuesday the 24th of May to discuss any issues you might have regarding the team selection, contest and judging criteria.
The cost of entering the trials will be R60 per trial i.e. R180.00 as well as affiliation to EP of R100.00.
Only those of you who can commit to coming to Margate should surf the trials.
Please enter on or before Wednesday the 8th of June by E-Mailing me or by placing your entry at the Surf Centre Dolphins Leap Humewood.
We will employ paid judges for the trials if at all possible.
The trials results will be the only criteria for selection to the team and we will only select people if we don’t have enough trialists entered to fill the division.

WE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THE JIM BEAM EASTERN PROVINCE LONGBOARD SURFING TEAM TO COMPETE AT THE JIM BEAM SOUTH AFRICAN CHAMPIONSHIPS IN CAPE TOWN FROM THE 23RD TO THE 30TH OF APRIL.
WELL DONE TO ALL OF YOU.
ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN SELECTED WHO WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COME MUST CONTACT DAVID TODAY. I HOPE THAT NO ONE PULLS OUT AT THIS LATE STAGE.
TO THOSE THAT DIDN’T MAKE IT WE WOULD LIKE TO INVITE YOU TO COME WITH THE TEAM TO POSSIBLY COMPETE AS INDIVIDUALS IF THERE IS SPACE.
YOU WOULD BE WELCOME TO STAY WITH US AND PARTICIPATE AS PART OF OUR TEAM.
THERE WILL BE AN OFFICIAL FUNCTION FOR THE WHOLE TEAM AT GIOVANIS AT DOLPHINS LEAP ON THURSDAY THE 7TH OF APRIL AT 6.30 FOR 7PM.THE WHOLE TEAM WILL BE EXPECTED TO BE THERE.
